GRILLING INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat your outdoor grill on medium heat for 5–7 minutes. Place the hot dogs on the grill and cook for 4–6 minutes, turning occasionally to brown all sides. Hot dogs should reach an internal temperature of 160ºF.
Pour the Coney Island chili into a small saucepan and place it on the side of the grill. Stir often until it comes to a low boil. (Be careful not to burn the pot handle.) Reduce the heat to low.
Place the hot dog buns on the grill. Close the lid and cook for 2–3 minutes, checking often to prevent burning.
KITCHEN INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat the oven to 250ºF.
Place a medium sauté pan over medium heat with 2 teaspoons of oil. Heat for 3 minutes. Add the hot dogs and cook for 5–6 minutes, turning occasionally to brown all sides. Hot dogs should reach an internal temperature of 160ºF.
While the hot dogs are cooking, pour the Coney Island chili into a small saucepan and heat over low heat, stirring often, until it comes to a low boil.
Place the hot dog buns in the oven and warm until heated through and lightly crisped, about 2–3 minutes.
SERVING SUGGESTIONS
