Preheat your oven to 350. Slice the hoagie into 1/4 inch slices. Place on a sheet pan and drizzle with olive oil. Season with salt and pepper as desired.
Move the brie to one side of the aluminum tray. Top with the dried cranberries and the candied walnuts. You can crumble the walnuts by hand to get smaller pieces.
Place both the sheet pan with the bread and the aluminum tray with the brie into the preheated oven. Once the bread is lightly toasted, remove from the oven and set aside.
When you remove the bread from the oven, press down on the brie with a spoon. This will help the inside get nice and melty! Once the brie is warm and melty, remove it from the oven.
Place the crostinis into the aluminum tray and serve up this delicious holiday appetizer with a side of fig spread!
