- In a medium bowl, combine the salad blend with your desired amount of buttermilk ranch. Stir well and set aside until plating.
- In the medium pot, bring 2 quarts of water and 1/2 teaspoon of salt to boil. Stir in the pasta and boil for 3-4 minutes or until al dente. Reserve 1/4 cup of cooking liquid and pasta, then drain the pasta.
- Place the large sauté pan on medium heat, then add 2-3 teaspoons of olive oil. Place the ground beef into the pan and begin to break it apart with the spoon as it cooks. Season with 1/4 teaspoon of salt and a dash of pepper. Continue cooking for 2-3 more minutes.
- Now add the tomato sauce to the pan, along with 1/4 cup of reserved pasta water. Bring the sauce to a low boil, then stir in the cooked pasta. Simmer for 1-2 minutes more. Please turn off all heating elements.
- Divide the beef ragu pasta between two shallow bowls. Serve the ranch salad on the side. Buona mangia!
