- Preheat oven to 400 F. Cut the ciabatta in half and toast in the oven for 3-4 minutes. Once hot, spread with the garlic butter.
- Place the large saute pan on medium-high heat, then add 2-3 teaspoons of olive oil. Preheat for 2 minutes, then add the ground beef to the pan. Break it apart with a spoon as it cooks. Season with 1/4 teaspoon of salt and a dash of pepper (or red chili flakes for a bit of spice). Continue cooking for 3-4 more minutes until the meat begins to brown.
- While the meat is browning, place the medium pot on high heat with 4 cups of water and 1/2 teaspoon of salt. Once boiling, add the fresh pasta and cook for 3-4 minutes. Reserve 1/4 cup of cooking liquid, then drain well.
- Now add the Bolognese sauce to the saute pan, along with the pasta water from Step 3. Mix well and bring to a low simmer for 3-4 minutes. (If the sauce is boiling and sticking to the pan, lower the burner to medium.) Stir in the cooked pasta, then remove from the burner. Please turn off all heating elements.
- To serve, divide the pasta between two plates. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese, and enjoy some garlic bread on the side!
