"Everything" Crusted Pork Chops with Cream Cheese Mashers and Gravy

Overview
Our culinary team has created a one-of-a-kind riff off the 'everything bagel' seasoning blend to bring you a clever and delicious dish. Tender, center-cut pork chops get rolled in the seasoning and then pan-seared to crispy perfection. Flavorful mashed potatoes, made with cream cheese (of course) and milk and topped with gravy, plus sauteed green beans and carrots to round out the meal.
Cooking instructions
- Move a rack to the lower level of the level of the oven. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees. Wash then trim the stem end off the green beans, as needed. Lightly oil the sheet tray then. Place the green beans and carrots on the tray. Drizzle on 3 teaspoons of oil and a sprinkling of salt and pepper. Mix well then place on the bottom rack of the hot oven. Roast for 11-14 minutes, stirring halfway through the cooking process.
- Place the pork chops on the plate and pat dry. Rub the pork with a light coating of (high heat) vegetable oil then press the Everything Spice Mix into both sides of the chops.(For a lower sodium option use only HALF of the seasoning blend.) Place the medium saute pan over medium-high heat. Add 3-4 teaspoons of oil (there should be enough to coat the bottom of the pan) and preheat for 3 minutes.
- Once the oil is hot, use the tongs to carefully add the pork to the saute pan. Sear on both sides for 2-3 minutes per side, until brown and crisp. Once all sides are browned, place the pork chops onto the second ovenproof sheet tray. (If your saute pan is oven proof, you can use that instead.) Place the pork chops into the oven and cook for 4-6 minutes, based on the thickness of the chops Pork should be cooked to a minumum internal temperature of 140 F.
- While the pork and vegetables are in the oven, pour the seasoned cream cheese into thefirst medium pot. Stir in the mashed potatoes then place on medium heat. Cook for 5-6 minutes, stirring often until hot. Pour the Pork Gravy into the second medium pot.Cook unitl hot. Taste then add salt or pepper as desired. Turn off all heating elements.
- Place the pork chops, mashed potatoes, and vegetables onto two plates. Cut the garlic butter into 4 pieces and place on top of the pork chops. Place the gravy on whatever you would like! Enjoy!
