Preheat the oven to 350ºF.
Melt the butter, then mix it well with the graham cracker crust mixture. Firmly press the mixture into the bottom of your pan. If using a pie pan, be sure to press the crust up the sides.
Pour the key lime pie filling into the crust and bake for 15 minutes. Allow it to cool at room temperature for 10 minutes before refrigerating. You can also freeze the pie or bars for up to 2 weeks.
When ready to serve, top with whipped topping and enjoy!
