- PLEASE NOTE: THIS KIT REQUIRES 40-45 MINUTES TO PREPARE. Set out the pizza dough and let it reach room temperature (~ 15-20 minutes). Place the oven rack on the bottom level of the oven. Begin to preheat the oven to 425ºF. Dice the slices of fresh mozzarella into 1/2-inch chunks. Wash and then slice the tomato into 1/4-inch slices.
- Use approximately 2 tbsp of flour to dust the countertop, rolling pin, and hands with flour. Place pizza dough on a floured countertop and roll out roughly 14 inches wide (in diameter). If the dough stretches back, let it rest for 5-10 minutes and roll again. This should be a medium size pizza.
- Use approximately 1 tbsp of flour to dust a large (ideally thin) sheet tray. Place the rolled-out dough on top of the sheet tray. Carefully pour the garlic herb sauce (#1) on the dough and spread it out evenly, leaving a half-inch from the edge of the dough. Sprinkle evenly with the shredded and chunked mozzarella cheese. Lastly, spread the tomato slices on the pizza.
- Bake until the crust is golden brown, and cheese is melted (~15-18 minutes). Drizzle the basil oil on the pizza once it is removed from the oven.
- While the pizza is cooking, place the salad greens in a medium bowl. Add the Italian dressing (#2) and mix well. Taste and add salt and pepper as needed. Slice the pizza after it has cooled for two minutes. Divide the salad between two plates, then dig in!
- Turn the oven down to 365ºF. and move the rack to the middle of the oven in preparation for baking the cookies. To bake the cookies: Divide the cookie dough into 4 equal pieces and place on a greased and floured baking sheet (or lined with parchment). Bake for 11-13 minutes, rotating halfway through until the cookies are golden brown and slightly cracking on top.
