- In the medium pot, add 4 cups of water and 1/2 teaspoon of salt. Bring to a boil, then add the rice noodles. Stir and cook for 2 minutes, then drain and divide the noodles between 4 bowls. Divide the shaved beef between the 4 bowls of noodles. (For well-done meat, simmer with broth for 2-3 minutes)
- Add the Pho broth to the medium pot and bring to a simmer.
- While the broth is heating, wash and dry all the produce. Slice the Fresno pepper, cut the lime into wedges, and rough chop the cilantro. (The stems are tender and can be used.)
- Now, pour the hot Pho broth over the noodles and shaved beef. The hot broth will cook the shaved beef. Garnish your noodle bowl as desired with bean sprouts, micro basil, hoisin sauce, sliced Fresno pepper, cilantro, and a squeeze of lime. Enjoy the explosion of flavors!
