- Move a rack to the bottom level of the oven. Pre-heat oven to 400ºF. Place the beef chimichangas onto one side of the rimmed sheet pan (be sure to leave room for the rice and beans later) and bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes.
- When the 10 minutes are up, pull the chimichangas out of the oven and use the spatula to flip them over. Add the charro black beans and cilantro rice to the sheet pan. Cook for another 15 minutes.
- While the chimichangas are in the oven, put the green chile sauce into the small sauce pot and place over medium heat for 5-7 minutes, until hot. Turn off all heating elements.
- To serve your happy chicken meal: Place one chimichanga on each plate, top with green chile sauce, cheddar Jack cheese and a spoonful of crema. Add a scoop of rice and beans to the side. Fiesta!
